You will help people on the move by providing rush hour traffic reports on air.  As part of a rota covering weekday mornings and evenings, you will use a range of sources, compile and record short traffic reports and upload them to go on air within minutes.

You would need to be available once a week on a weekday between 0700 and 0830 or 1600 and 1830.  Reports take about 10 minutes to compile and record and you would typically produce 4 or 5 reports between these times.

Full training will be given.  You will need to have a laptop, PC or Mac and an internet connection.  We will provide the necessary microphone.

 

Typical time needed : 1 or 2 hours most weeks

Essential skills :

A good speaking voice
The ability to compile information quickly
A basic understanding of the local road and rail networks
