Location : At home – 2 to 4 hours per typical week
As the station’s Music Master, your role would be to update, around once per week, the ‘current’ playlist on Radio Verulam. Under the guidance of the Programme Controller, you will select new music to be added to our ‘current and chart tracks’, source the audio, upload it, and add it into our library. You will receive training in the various sections of Myriad and on the types of music acceptable for the playlist.
Essential SkillsIT confidence; understanding of music trends and tastes; a modern outlook.
Desirable skills
A good ear for current music, across the radio stations with an understanding of playlists on Capital, Heart, Radio 1 and Radio 2.
Learning Opportunities
Training in the various aspects of Myriad that are required.
