From 12 noon to 6pm on Sunday June 25th in St Peter’s Street, St Albans hosts the Alban Weekend Street Festival!
With free face-painting, street performers and other curiosities, the Alban Street Festival truly has something for everyone! A full programme of free activities, performances, music, food and fun will have you dancing in the street. All it needs now is the sunshine… and you!
There’s a wealth of diverse music spread across two stages at this year’s Alban Street Festival, from country, jazz, pop and folk to barbershop singing, rockin’ DJs and African drumming! Make sure you join in with the big street ceilidh at 4pm!
Radio Verulam 92.6 FM will be broadcasting live from the Festival from Market Place (outside Boots), and our presenters Denise Parsons, Danny Smith and Alex McKay will be hosting the Taxi Rank, Acoustic and Imaginarium stages respectively.
From 12 noon to 2pm Klaudia and Richard Edwards will be manning the mics.
Then from 2pm to 4pm it’s afternoon sounds with Mark Bilsby.
Through to the end from 4pm to 6pm join Amanda Yorwerth and Rosie MacLeod.
Do come and say hello and pick up a car sticker or a balloon!
