Another action packed Verulam Sport Saturday 3pm-6pm....
Based on best information and advice in light of recent health concerns the Premier League has postponed all fixtures until at least April 4th; with lots of other major global, national and local sport also taking an enforced break.
Verulam Sport carries on though... So no action for Watford coming back down to earth with a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace after the highs of the victory over Liverpool they were grateful for results around them. They remain in 17th just out of the relegation zone but are firmly in a battle for survival. Watford's Head of Communications Richard Walker is live from 4.10pm so tweet in with your questions/thoughts to @verulamsport.
However, the Saints ARE in action this week. They will be hoping to build on a midweek victory in the Semi Final of the Herts Senior Cup but are hoping to avoid a third consecutive league defeat. They travel to Billericay Town FC today and know a win would see them leapfrog Billericay in the league. Stay tuned for reports all afternoon from Phil Coates. Phil also updates us on the great work Saints do in the Community and builds up to an epic Cycle to Amsterdam for Prostate Cancer UK scheduled for June.
Saracens Mavericks Director of Netball and Head Coach Kat Ratnapala reflects on the Mav's victory in their first Home fixture and builds up to their next Match away at Loughborough Lightning on Monday.
Brian Quinn reviews the OA's topsy turvey campaign and we build up to the return of the Hertfordshire Falcons Baseball team who are in pre-season action today.
We talk Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts with our fighting guru Trent Baxendine and remind you about an awesome event which saw schools in St Albans and across the county engage in the 'Herts Daily Mile..' back in February.
All this and loads more Sporting news, action and debate, Verulam Sport Sat March 7th 3pm-6pm with Tony Rice
