Perfectionism – when it’s no longer healthy

Being called a perfectionist was generally a compliment and something people aspired to be known as. Schools, too push our children to strive for perfection. But what happens when it stops being a healthy aspiration?

Prof Roz Shafran – is one of the world’s leading experts on Perfectionism. What exactly is clinical perfectionism and when does attention to detail become unhealthy? We will explore this mental health problem with Prof Shafran who is Professor of Translational Psychology at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health and a Clinical Psychologist.
