It’s a Christmas, Cracking Verulam Sports

FIRST BROADCAST : December 8, 2018 3:00 pm

It's a Christmas cracking Verulam Sport on Saturday. We welcome back into the studio the phenomenal Michael Wallace from Kickoff@3 and soaring in alongside him we look forward to speaking with Squadron Leader Cyrus Pocha from the RAF Engagement Team. They will explain a growing Partnership and the many opportunities being created and barriers broken down in their respective work. Not to be missed.

The Saints are in something of a slump. With out a win in 6 matches and out of the FA trophy and now shorn of the services of leading scorer Ralston Gabriel, Ian Allinson's men will be hoping that Santa serves up a win in front of their home faithful on Saturday. 'The Voice of the Saints' Ian Rogers returns and will be providing regular updates.

In local Rugby the Old Albanians are also at home and Brian Quin will describe all the action as they bid to return to winning ways against London Irish Wild Geese; National League Two Souths second from bottom club. Verulaminas are at the very bottom of their league and have a stern challenge this weekend colliding with the on form Datchworth.

Meanwhile as Saracens welcome Cardiff Blues to Allianz Park on Sunday, we preview this one with Sarah Hawkins and wonder if the Men in Black can remain unbeaten.

We chat NFL with Hertfordshire Cheetah's Conor Wilson and invite you to tweet @verulamsport with your questions for Watford FC's Head of Communication Richard Walker. He will joins us on the line just after 3pm and we learn about the exploits of a local Golfer who has earned a scholarship to a leading US college.

All this and so much more, Verulam Sport with Tony Rice, Matthew Turvey, Jo Kiely and Jason McKenna 3-5.40pm 92.6Fm and online on www.radioverulam.com
