David Clement-Horton, CEO and principal performer for the charity Forget Me Not Musicians, joins me on Friday, to explain how he uses music as the key to unlocking the memories of dementia sufferers. He talks about the challenges of continuing to provide service to residents in care homes over the coronavirus lockdown, and how he used his experience of working for Google to come up with innovative solutions to those challenges. He and Yvan Silva, will also perform an acoustic-unplugged song as their alter-ego, Almost The Everlies, to demonstrate how they help those suffering from dementia.
Check out Forgetmenotmusicians.org for further details, or to help this charity
We will also be playing the birthday quiz, and rounding up all the most interesting stories from St Albans, along with of course great great music.
