We find out about lasting powers of attorney, which can give your relatives or others the ability to manage your financial and other affairs if you are unable to do so.  It is rreally important to think about this ahead of time beause it is very difficult to manage someone else’s affairs without them and it can be very costly and time consuming to put something in place after it is first needed.
