Great news - we’ve been nominated for an award by Communities First, for Excellence in Volunteer Management.  Tom Watkins from Communities First wrote to us to say why:

‘Having worked so closely with you to achieve your Six-Point Promise accreditation, a commitment to the highest standards of practise in Volunteer Management I know how much effort you put into caring for your volunteers and just to receive this nomination is a massive recognition of that. Well done!’

The credit for this has to go to Leona Fensome, who worked with Tom to put the Six-Point Promise in place - and I hope that we continue to build on this great legacy.

Volunteer Meeting - 8 September - thanks to all of those who attended, and to those who presented.  October meeting will be a daytime meeting - to accommodate those who cannot join in the evenings.  If you have a shout out to thank someone, or a topic you would like covered - let me know.
