Thanks to everyone who battled the freezing cold and snow last week to keep programmes on air and provide vital information to people living and working in our area.
I thought you'd like to see how we are somewhere people turn to when they need to know what is happening. The picture below of our website page views shows a huge spike thanks to our school closures web page and our twitter activity (below) also shows how the right information presented the right way on social media gets big uptake. Of course, the people creating all of this on the day were doing vital work, but it has also taken a few years of heavy effort on building the audiences both on the radio and on social media to be able to do this so successfully.
