It has been a week (or ten days) of good news financially for us.
I am pleased to say that thanks to the efforts of both the shows' presenters and our volunteers selling, we've received renewals from Skin to Love Clinic and Stowe Family Law. Well done Denise Parsons, Phil Richards, Jonny Seabrook, Steve Simpson, Richard Edwards, and Leona Fensome. Great content and excellent account management is rewarded with clients who value the exposure they get with us.
Kerry Cobb and Amanda Yorweth have attracted a new advertiser, Affinity Water. Congratulations to both of them for landing a big brand. You can hear the campaign here: https://radioverulam.com/campaign/affinity-water-launches-new-campaign-in-st-albans-district-save-10-a-day/
We have also heard that we are to be one of the beneficiaries of the Co-op Local Community Fund. This scheme allows customers of a branch to nominate our project (in this case provision of equipment for home broadcasting) to receive a small percentage of their bill amount every time they shop. Congratulations to Clair Graham and Steve Simpson who spearheaded this application.
It remains really tough financially for us, but we are secure currently barring any disasters until the middle of 2021. Time to get our thinkming going on how to raise money in the New Year! Ideas welcome.
