As part of my training role, I am going to be running a live session centred around Traffic & Travel for our trainee volunteers. However, I’m going to open up the session so anyone who wishes to attend is able to do so.
If you are a volunteer with Radio Verulam and have an interest in Traffic & Travel, you are very welcome to attend this session. You may be an existing travel presenter looking to enhance your skills, a volunteer who is interested in presenting our traffic and travel but doesn’t really know where to start, or an off-air volunteer who has a general interest in traffic and travel. I’d strongly recommend attending if you are even remotely interested in traffic and travel!
The session is expected to last an hour, and covers lots of topics – from the language we should be using, to our patch, to researching information, to hints and tips that will come in handy when presenting/researching traffic and travel.
The live session will be on Google Meet this Saturday 30th January at midday. You will need a Gmail account (you can create one if you haven’t already got one – even if it’s for single use!) as well as Google Chrome or Firefox (or, the Google Meet mobile app).
For those who wish to attend (or would like some more info), please email me on firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will send you the meeting link a little nearer the time.
