This masterclass will be a great discovery of the Beaujolais Appellation. From the well known, easy drinking Beaujolais Villages to the some of the lesser seen ten Cru , such as Fleurie and Moulin- à -Vent.
The wine region of Beaujolais lies north of Lyon, incorporating the Rhône and Saône-et-Loire departments. Almost half of the vineyards in this area can be used to make the Beaujolais Nouveau - wines we know so well, that appear in November. The wine is made under strict rules, including using the Gamay grape and with all being harvested by hand.
Oliver Campos will be presenting 7 of Jean Loron's wines, representing the major AOCs and Crus.
Tickets include cheese and charcuterie sharing platters.
