Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice provides clinical, practical and emotional support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families living in North and Central London and Hertsmere. Every child receives a bespoke package of support including specialist care and therapies as well as access to a busy and fun-filled family activities programme.
Our support can range from group activities for children, through to bereavement counselling for families and siblings. Up until 2019 we were a Hospice-at-Home and community based service, providing care to our families in their homes: Now we have built The Ark, our purpose-built Children's Hospice.
Running alongside our home and community based services, The Ark will be a home-from-home for children who are seriously unwell, giving them the time and space to be children and not just patients. It will provide an inspiring space for relaxation, adventure and for children and their families to connect with others facing similar challenges; providing, amongst other things, 24-hour end-of-life, post-death and bereavement care, overnight stays and sensory music and art rooms.
The state-of-the-art building is set within a beautiful 7.5 acre nature reserve in Barnet and is open to all the families we support throughout London and Hertsmere.
