Since 1966 Our Primary Role: Is to be the voice and advocate for the communities in rural and urban Hertfordshire.

We achieve this by exchanging information between the public, private and voluntary sectors, influencing strategies, supporting and working in partnership, and delivering a wide range of projects such as:-

• Promotion & Support of Community Led Solutions

• Community Based Organisation Advice & Guidance

• Reducing Rural Isolation & Loneliness

• Promotion, Delivery & on-going support to Social Prescribing initiatives

• Co-ordination of Community Energy Group

• Advising on Neighbourhood Planning

• Stewardship of the Community Garden in St Albans and other Projects

• Supporting Community driven Open Spaces & Play Areas

• Advice & Guidance on Rural Affordable Housing

• Community & Rural Transport Solutions

• Village Hall & Community Facility Advisory Service

We run the Play Area Scheme based in HMP The Mount for passt 20+ years
