Danny SmithDanny has an extensive background in youthwork, moving to the area in 1995 to work full-time for The Boys' Brigade. He has also served the local community as a Deacon at Dagnall Street Baptist Church, in addition to running their Boys' Brigade group for several years. Danny is still involved with this group, running the Duke of Edinburgh's Award for its members. DJing has been in Danny's blood since he was 18 and he runs his own mobile disco business. However, Danny only got involved with radio in 2008 and after a brief period as a studio assistant was trained in-house and became a presenter. In addition to his role as presenter of our drivetime show, Danny has served as our volunteer co-ordinator since 2008. |
